The ILP Learning Center is a resource for photographers to get high quality teaching from recognized industry experts who are ILP Pro or better. Students can share learning in a private forum or workshop, mentor with a Pro or get extensive feedback on their portfolios. We also have a range of downloadable e-books and videos with new products being added all the time.  Our current offerings are available through the STORE .

Learn With a Pro
Group study within a private forum lead by Pro Instructor
ILC’s interactive and intensive Learn with a Pro Workshops are conducted in a private and secure forum. The group study atmosphere allows students to share their thoughts and personal growth, and see how each student has translated the teaching into their own work.

The duration of these group studies will vary, depending on the theme and the Instructor, and may be either one-week intensive sessions or spread over several weeks with the Instructor logging in at specific times each week. ILP Pro’s are experienced professionals and upcoming workshops will include a wide range of subjects such as business skills and image processing.

Ten Image Portfolio Review
Written review of 10 images
This written review will cover basic photographic technique (white balance, composition, lighting, focus, exposure, color) plus more nuanced skills (editorial quality, use of environment, use of color/tonal harmony, expression/posing/connection) where appropriate. The review will cover specific critique of each image and overall commentary with constructive tips for improvement.

Participants should expect that a Pro will review in the direction of their own style; ILP has many Pros with a variety of styles to allow participants to choose a teacher they feel will assist them most.

One on One Mentoring
A one-to-one discussion with an ILP Pro for detailed mentoring on a photographic topic of your choice
Intensive and personalized one on one mentoring sessions with a selected Pro using Skype or other webinar software, to push your photography to a higher level of skill and creativity.

The session will last at least 60 minutes. It may take the form of a general review of the individual's work and a discussion of their current portfolio and specific areas for development. Alternatively some Pro Instructors may offer training sessions which focus on particular skills, and on applying these to the student's own work.
