About ILP Pro Forum Membership

If you're new to ilovephotography.com, you may not
know that there is a whole other (invisible) section of ILP that caters to
the serious child portrait photographer. This section we call "ILP Pro".
With an ILP Pro membership you are
given access to those specialized forums where you can mix it up
with other photographers who are equally passionate about
progressing in the rewarding and challenging field of
professional child portraiture (high school senior
photography is also discussed in its own dedicated
forum in ILP Pro). If you think you are someone who
would benefit by being among this type of
focused group of photographers, please
read on and note the prerequisites.

Thank you!

Please note, before applying for ILP Pro:

*You must have made at least 100 posts to ILP. Keep in mind that the ILP Pro review team is looking for photographers who are not only skillful and experienced in paid children's portraiture, but also helpful to the ILP community... the more forum participation the better.

*Your website must be attractive and easy to navigate, aimed at prospective clients.

*You must display at least 30 good portraits of various subjects, and the same subjects should not keep reappearing in your samples. Having taken the effort to photograph a wide variety of different subjects is one sign that you might be ready for ILP Pro. If your site contains images only of your family, you are not ready for Full Access. However, you may be eligible for ILP PrePro, which is a specialized forum for those who are still honing their professional skills and working their way toward ILP Pro.

*You should have an about page, and contact information. Your website will demonstrate that you have a genuine and passionate interest in progressing in the field of child portrait photography. These requirements act as filters in screening out our possible clients, trolls, etc.

*You must list your name in your ILP signature so that ILPers know how to address you.

*Please look for the application link on the ILP front page, where the forum descriptions are located. At times the application won't be open because we need to catch up on app. reviews. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks to all who visit the site...you make it what it is! --Eddie.
